The tour is designed to discover the pearls of the Amalfi Coast and taste wines and typical products of the area. Your licensed English-speaking driver will pick you up in air-conditioned Mercedes car or van and welcome you with your tour schedule.
During the day our driver will provide you with information on the culture, history and traditions of the place and will stop on the road to give you time to take photos from the best points of view. As a first stop you can choose to visit Positano or Amalfi.
We will arrive in these cities along the panoramic road to admire the enchanting landscape. By choosing Positano you can visit the Cathedral dedicated to the Virgin Mary and go shopping in the various craft shops that you can find in the alleys that lead to the beach. There you will find beautiful ceramics and dresses with fresh and versatile fabrics, in sangallo or lace and lace, and then sandals, bags, sarongs, handmade costumes: an authentic triumph of the famous “Positano beach fashion” While choosing Amalfi you can admire the small villages of Praiano and Furore with its namesake fjord in addition to the beautiful Amalfi, an ancient maritime republic, where you can visit the wonderful Cathedral built in the 9th century, dedicated to Sant’Andrea, the Cloister of Paradise that recalls Norman / Arab architecture and the Arsenale the ancient shipyard of the Ancient Republic, where ships were built and repaired. Visiting the most beautiful monuments in the city you will have time to buy souvenirs.
The second stop on the tour is Ravello, a jewel of art and culture among the most sought after destinations on the Amalfi Coast. Place full of history and memories of the past that inspired writers and artists, starting from Villa Rufolo with clear Arab influences and well-kept gardens overlooking the sea, the Cathedral of San Pantaleone, an admirable fusion of Baroque, Arab and Byzantine elements and Villa Cimbrone, an eclectic building with its gardens, its overflowing terrace most memorable view of the Amalfi coast.
Finally the tour will land at Tenuta San Francesco located in Tramonti, for your wine tour: you will visit the vineyards and the cellar of the seventeenth century; and you will have lunch with the products of the peasant tradition in a magical atmosphere. During the meal, there will be a guided tasting of the best local wines and grappa or sparkling wine. At the end of the tour our driver will accompany you to the departure destination, except for any requests made during the booking.
