The Archaeological Museum of Naples was inaugurated in 1816 and today it is one of the most important in the world for the quality and quantity of the works it holds. In addition to containing the findings of the excavations of Pompeii, it houses finds from the Greek-Roman age, Egyptian and Etruscan antiquities, the Farnese collection and much more. Do not miss the “Secret Cabinet” which collects frescoes and ancient sculptures dedicated to the theme of eroticism.
After visiting the museum, we will make you visit the historic center of Naples which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995. It contains 27 centuries of history and is the largest in Europe. Optionally you can visit the various Castles of the city, the beautiful Piazza del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace, the Greek-Roman Naples and the magnificent area of San Gregorio Armeno with its shepherds and Christmas nativity scenes. Obviously you cannot go away from Naples without eating the famous Neapolitan pizza in one of the best pizzerias in the city.
Inside the archaeological sites we advise you to be accompanied by an authorized tourist guide. At the end of the tour our driver will accompany you to the departure destination, except for any requests made during the booking.
